The studios are set in an old world village near Sevenoaks and have been converted from what were the stables and outbuildings of the general stores. The Pottery was established over thirty years ago by Tessa Oates for the production of studio ceramics and has since developed into a centre for the teaching of pottery and clay modelling. Classes are held in a pleasant, non-institutional rural environment.

Courses cater for those who wish to avail themselves of excellent facilities and generally devote more time to their work than is normally allowed for in traditional adult education.
