These classes cater for all abilities. Beginners are welcome and introduced to the basic techniques of hand building, coiling, slabbing, glazing etc., as well as learning to master the potter's wheel.

Students of all abilities are welcome and encouraged to pursue a creative approach to modelling with clay. Kiln firing or casting of clay models is employed for finished work.

The day starts with an introductory talk on Raku and glazes. Bisque fired pots will then be glazed and advice and help will be given to make the most of the beautiful glazes. Kilns will be loaded and fired continuously throughout the afternoon.  Every one is encouraged to participate.
